shine and glisten.

“Never let yesterday use up too much of today.”
—John L. Mason

I really struggle with anxiety, so, this quote really made me smile. Just let go. Sometime things come your way that you cannot control. Walk away, take a step back.. and know that better things are to come.

This wonderful book says:
Learning to break the cycle of anxiousness and worry isn’t simple. Its takes time, practice, and persistence. Worries about finances follow many of us throughout the day. We feel guilt over “not getting anything done.” Household commitments sometimes seem endless. We worry about our children; we worry about our loved ones. And that worry and preoccupation end up robbing the joy from the magic of today. There is nothing more freeing than finally “letting go.” You will recognize the feeling, because the little things you have been missing will begin to shine and glisten like never before.

A VERY BIG SORRY.

I wanted to say “sorry” for not blogging to my little gathering of readers and myself (because it’s one of my goals—to blog everyday). I have been terribly sick and haven’t left my bed—besides when going to work! A lot has been going on; I’ve had one of thee best birthdays one could ask for (thank you Dilyana). I think I’m beginning to see what good friends can do to your life. I am so thankful.

collection of friends.

“Unselfish and noble actions are the most radiant pages in the biography of souls.”
—David Thomas

She says gratitude is one of the soul’s greatest riches. Tomorrow say thank you! Contact ten people by phone or email, and express a heartfelt thank you.

I know I need to do this more often. I am truly so thankful for my little collection of friends. I frequently say “my little collection” because I have friends from all over and most don’t know each other. I really wish I could spend more time with some of you! (cough cough): Letty, Dana, Katie, Simone, Rachael, Becky, Mia, Heather … to name a few. Life is wonderful and we have so many things to be grateful for. I know, without you ladies, I wouldn’t be the person I am today. I love you, I really do!

Repeated:
Thank you, world, for all my blessings.

not as wise.
